Covid-19 Policy at Events
I will be following Covid-19 health and safety guidance at all events. All participants will be asked to remain at 2m distance from each other and my work station. Hand sanitiser will be available. I will wear disposable gloves that will be changed between each bike and before being handed back all points of contact on the bike, including handlebars, brake and gear levers and saddles will be sanitised.
Pop-Up Dr Bike – Cycling UK
Thursday 3rd September 2020 10.00-16.00
Merstone Old Station, Red Squirrel Trail
Come along to Merstone Station on the Red Squirrel Trail as part of Cycling UK’s Big Bike Revival. This Free Pop-Up Dr Bike event is open to anyone and will include some or all of the following (as needed):
A comprehensive ‘M-Check’ to ensure the bike is safe to ride (for
all bikes brought along).
Brakes – caliper and cable adjustment, and if needed, cable and
pad replacement.
Gears – indexing, adjustment, and if needed, cable replacement.
Chain – checked for wear and lubricated if necessary.
Tyres – inflated to correct pressure. Puncture repair/tube
replacement if necessary.
Check that all nuts and bolts are properly torqued. Headset and
bottom bracket checked. Bar plugs and cable end caps checked
and replaced if necessary.
